回流選幼稚園問題

短期內會從美回流，非常頭痛選校問題，小兒2008年1月生，將會要在K2 or K3 插班，廣東話流利，不過唔識寫同睇，在美一直由2歲起都去day care, 在校全英語溝通冇問題，想知那些幼稚園比較適合回流小朋友，唔想考慮國際學校，實在負擔不起，將會考慮住九龍或新界區，謝謝

有少少補充，意思唔考慮國際學校係小學同中學，小學都想揀一些以英文為主的學校，謝謝任何意見

唔識寫同睇中文,其實樓住會唔會考慮比個小朋友讀返K1先呢?因為而家香港地識寫同睇中文係好重要架喎...就算將來以英文為住嘅小,中學,都要識架...

再者而家香港幼稚園嘅學位係d幾年都比較緊張,唔係話妳想插班就可以插,都要睇返間幼稚園有冇小朋友退學或者轉校,有位先得!

多謝意見，但我仔仔巳是1月出世，今年9月suppose上k2, 但我想返到來已是年尾，k1 or k2 都要插班，如果唔係大仔，重讀k1都冇咁大問題.... 香港讀書真苦惱

其實而家開始，每日教一個生字，到9月開學都識到好多啦，k2都冇問題，佢仲識聽Tim.
最大問題係邊到有插班位比你。

I think many kindergarten ok, e.g. Think, creative, York, st nich, stafford, st cat. These schools conduct in English in all lessons except Chinese and mandarin classes.

AgreeMy girl only started to learn Chinese at 3 yo, now she's 3.5 yo, I am feeding her 20 words each day this week. Kids at this age are like sponge, they learn and remember things v quickly. Start to teach you kids more now.

K2無問題，大部份嘅KG都係K2先學寫字！

Yes, they will. Some kindergarten will post openings for k2 and k3. Suggest write the letters for sep class in April.

唔好讀K1啦, 2008年1月B仲重讀K1, 咁就變咗超級超級大B, 入小一時7歲9個月大! 大抽獎又冇咗適齡的兒童嗰10分。

插K2啦, 全港80%幼稚園係有學卷, 政府規定行學卷制D幼稚園係K2先開始學寫字, 你年尾返最多教咗十個八個中文字, 仲係最淺嗰D一, 二, 三 ....., 數目字同英文0-9, A-Z自巳教定先

Thanks, we really want to try to put him in k2 on Feb, so don't need to wait until Sep for k3.....

A-Z 已經識寫，寫自己英文名都ok, 數字0-9 亦識寫，現在只希望有位插班, thanks

If they post the opening for k2 or k3, is usually on their website or in front of the school?  Thanks...

Website. For the coming sep classes shd be closed officially, but you can still give them a call. Each kinder will tell you what to do.

I would suggest you to think about the contingency in  Boxhill( MOS or fotan ).  I think it is a good school, everything systematic, teachers are nice and good.
many kids at K2 into international school. so K3 many學位, this kids參與統一派位, 2013 Sep for k3.

Box hill is good but school fee is high.For same school fee, she has many choices like tutor time and anfield in kln tong.

We will be facing the same problem as you next year too. Planning to move back to hong kong in jan 2014, my girl will be 4.5 and should go to k2. Please share your experience later. I totally have no idea how to apply school for her now

Tutor Time is American style franchised school while Anfield is British style.
