Unless you already have interview priority under the ESF admission system, getting an interview from a non-ESF kindergarten is rare, especially if you are under Cat 2.  However, it's just the situation this year and foreseeably the same next year (you can tell by the difficulty getting into a kindy this year).

It is true that many Tutortime children continue in various IS.  I know some who has gone to CIS, AIS and SIS.  But then, almost all of these children I know have sibling priority.  A friend of mine told me that at the CIS interview this year, almost all of the children at her interview session have siblings at CIS already.
