My kid is on waiting list. Did any parents recieved the call yet?

I called APS yesterday for the waiting list calling status, the staff told that the earlist calling date would be in mid June since all students are required to register and pay the school fee on 12/6, thus, wait the result after 14/6 la

I wonder why no news here.

Just called the school and they did finished to call the waiting list.

So, must have some kids get the offer from waiting list now.

i dont believe it, for the past years, the school normally called the candidates by mid july or even early sept

其實我估学校不是不想早些通知候補生，如果拖延通知家長，只会增添学校的行政工作而已，事實上開学要處理百多個新生是不容易，学校固然希望盡快落實名单并在開学前准備好有关行政工作。

但我認为很大原因是有些家长不到最後一刻都未拿定主意，更甚的到開了学不去上課也不通知学校取消学位，所以也见過有同学在開了学個多星期才收到通知有位。

不過也有可能今年较少人放弃学位，事实上，宣小已是很遲才面试，所以考得宣小的，不少都是宣小的fans。此外，注册日期也是大抽奖之後，换言之，来得注册的都应该是想清想楚才来的！

Anyway, good luck to all students in the waiting list. 记得多年前我的小朋友也是较遲才收到通知。希望未决定好的家长快些拿定主意，如果放弃学位，尽早通知学校，讓真正需要学位的学生快些得到好消息，过一個happy holiday!!

回想去年, 我地9月1日下午6點幾才收到心儀直資的電話, 叫地去2nd in, 重叫我地帶定支票.
所以真係有人一直唔通知學校, 到9月1日no show學校先call waiting list.
我舊年都好嬲架!  不過現在讀緊aps.  就好覺得去年心儀直資咁遲call我, 都唔係我地的損失.
