no, HY kinder's level is not low. I always find the Chinese words (my other fd whose girl is still in HY kinder, sticked all the words to the wall) they learnt are too difficult. my fd whose daughter entered HY P1 thr "so-called knocking the door" mentioned that the pressure of P.1 was even lower than K.3 as outside kids didn't ve level of HY kinder.
i think it's not fair to compare gov't/subsided schools with private schools. Gov't/subsided schools do not have the right to choose the kids (except the so-called knocking the door phase). 50% of kids from 自行 (i.e. sibings, religion, alumini.....) and 50% of kids from "lucky draw" (i.e. mostly location).

其實佢都唔係咁好啫，人地民生衰極都收返85%幼稚園學生呀！
