Is KM a good choice?

Considering the fee 37000+ a year, do you think it is worthwhile?  Do you think KM pupils have any advantage in applying DSS or private Primary schools?

What is DSS?

My son is in K3 international class.  I think his English & Putonghua standard is good.  He is not shy in talking to native English / PTH speakers.  Both my hubby and myself do not speak PTH and we seldom talk to him in English at home.

His maths is also OK.  They use P1 maths textbook (Eng) in K3.  Today, he did subtraction e.g. 9-3-2.  He also needs to do 2-digit addition / subtraction.  He knows what's pyramid, prism, sphere, etc in English.

Chinese is also not simple.  He wrote 香港的區徽 and 我們要愛護環境 before the Easter holiday.

Overall speaking, I think KM has helped build my son's knowledge and confidence in the last few years.

Somehow, KM is similar to KV.  Both are focus at their academic and popular among famous P1.

What do u think the differentiation of KM to KV?

AaronMa, just wondering what primary schools your applied for your son? and what kind of after school activities you helped your son joined?

My child is also studying in KM K1, just wondering how to plan his path. thanks for your advice

KM showed their graduate P1 result online.

我個人覺得km好aggressive, 想追過kv, 所以課程好深, 想盡快出名做名校

兩間都是好學校, 無所謂誰要追誰. 而且在教學方針各有不同, 劍鳴比較著重全面發展, "她"在語言(英、普)方面比較幹得出色.

Ｋ３才是真正多功課的一年！（囝囝正在ＫＭ讀Ｋ３），所以我相信ＫＭ畢業生一定可以順利過渡及適應小一的學習生活。（因為訓練有素！）

我初初都驚會太多, 但做做下就慣嫁喇.  而家囝囝好鍾意做功課, 5-10mins一定會做完, 而且好鬼enjoy嫁^^

我仔仔都好主動做功課, 功課不用家長指引, 全部自己做.他還會解釋比我哋聽點樣做( d語氣和動作可能是模仿學校老師, 小朋友扮老師好攪笑)

我個囡都係呀..
有時我夜左番, 佢自己會羅0黎做,
工人吾識中文,
而中文個本功課就靠阿囡自動波做,
次次都得0岩晒,
可能事先老師教定佢點做先!!

發覺學校的教授方式非常不錯,呢方面我好滿意!

問左老師, k1下學期正式寫字,
每日中(簡單中文字)/英(letter)/數字(number)日日有,
每次一版約10-20個進漸式0甘寫,
大家要加油啦!

請問劍鳴d中文課程(Cantonese)好嗎？因小女英文比較好，相學好些中文預備小學，現在劍鳴及HKPS都比咗offered 小女讀N1，現想正考邊間適合d。謝謝。

我唔知樂基如何，但小女讀PN至今，已認識了二十多個中文字，聼聞 K3已經學“特別行政區“。。。等等！同埋，我見阿女講野時會用一d頗深的字眼，可能係學校學到， 例如：晚飯時，阿女話：今日d餸好丰富！。。我個人就覺得中文好得啦！
