What is Popcorn Sale for QBS?

My son is in Year 1 of QBS.
As stated in the newsletter, activity " Popcorn Sale" was held today.
What was this activity?
Do we have to do anything for the children?

May I have your kind advice, please.

Is it a fund raising activity of selling popcorns?

The popcorn is made by the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and the price is $5 per portion.  All proceeds go to the PTA.  And PTA funds are used on the children.  Pop corn sales are held about twice a term.   

What do you have to do?  If your child likes popcorn, give him $5 so that he can buy some.  If your child doesn't like popcorn, then nothing.
