should be the same young lady.

for the HKU law double degree programme, even local students can only get the government subsidy for the first 4 years. the 5th year is self financed. the relevant tuition fee should be HK$85K instead of HK$200K. i mixed it up with he tuition fees for PCLL. my bad.

你講的狀元, 係咪港同的那位? 佢最後係轉左去CU 讀Global Business.

係佢的YT 中有講過, 其實佢由中一, 二開始, 已經好想讀business, A1 CU GB, A2 UST Gbus, A3 IBGM, 但當年身邊的師長都覺得佢入global buisness 的機會好微, 所以冇對佢揀依科有咩期望.

到放榜果日, 突然考到咁的成績, 佢有啲飄飄然的感覺, 師長都覺得應該讀番個有專業資格的學科比較好, 所以係24小時之內, 就揀左blaw. 不過, 佢未開學就已經開始後悔, 讀左一個sem 之後, 更加知道自己唔鍾意law, 所以最後決定quit u.

另外, 第五年學費, 應該8萬+, 200K 的, 係咪non-local student ?

In fact, double degree programme is mainly for those students who do not make a firm commitment to be lawyers upon university entrance. Some of these students may either quit law or the other degree in year 2 to concentrate on one degree only, after they make up their mind.

A few years ago, a DSE top scorer (7 x 5**) quit the B.Law of HKU and reapplied GBus of UST the subsquent year because she found her interest is in business instead of law after studying one semester.

Besides, the fifth year of a double degree programme do not have any government subsidy. The annual tuition fee will be HK$200K instead of HK$42K. You should think about if it is really worth to spend the extra money (and time) for a double degree.

Lastly, admission to PCLL will only count your law GPA. Hence, those double degrees students still need to do well in law subjects in order to get a place in PCLL.

These are the points you should consider before you choose LLB or a double degree programme.

個人認為LLM有兩種人會讀： 1. 想做Bar 的人會讀  2. 冇training contract的人會讀

有Training Contract 大多數入到PCLL，吾會再讀LLM 或其他

本末倒置既說法，入U收生要求較高，而某些學生可能最終決定放棄行律條路，可能係佢最終認為律唔啱佢，大落後，甚或PCLL完都會放棄，LLB一樣會出現呢批人，係社會上不難見到，人會各有打算～

讀Law 同讀Business 係兩個世界的校園生活，香港的Law school 世界排名20 ，要入PCLL成為律師要考得好好。Law school 第三年開始要搵到Training Contract，搵吾到等於做吾到頂級trainee solicitor｡要入magic circle firm 或美國大行比入IBGM更難。Magic circle firm trainee solitcitor起薪為五萬至五萬五，美國大行可達十萬，不過唔使瞓覺。我想搞什麼B Law 同G Law 係比D成績冇咁好的同學多幾條出路。其實想攞個律師牌，最直接係讀LLB。什麼EMBA 或MBA 或even DBA，有錢就有，但要有實際工作經驗。

個人覺得30歲前讀Business係一種浪費，因為你唔會明白Business究竟係點做。有咗工作上面嘅沉澱，讀起嚟事半功倍。

在Banking & Finance sector, MBA 助力已大不如前，除非係Ivy League 或其他top school , 或科大EMBA 嗰啲先好小小，在商界跑出頭，始終要靠實戰加其他soft skills such as communication 和運氣。要做specialist rather than generalist.

LLB對上係LLM，雖然有說M未必需要～

MBA一般唔會畢業直踩，或者未必會收～
咁边個學科闊度會好啲呢～
況且，律師有基本商業智識，係咪好過下下問人呢～

個人覺得有點浪費時間。

你咪已經答左說法囉，你話商界要有專業資格，似乎，MBA係為本科非商科畢業生為主。要讀多一年，當然有佢一定賣點，幾拾年前边有BLaw，咪解釋左社會係有此需求，點會有浪費～

況且，點解BLaw收生要求會高啲，自己領會一下，本科商科，學到既野一定多於MBA～
