...其實英國啲uni 唔係頭四五，數落去已經係爭兩班，同加拿大澳洲啲一線尾大學差唔多。啱啱做嘢見到英國三至六名嘅大學都以為好勁，膠手得多其實同啲本地冇乜分別。喺ib hf pe反而見加拿大澳洲大學畢業生多過英國大學畢業生

HKU醫學院院長Dundee 畢業，收生個教授Bristol畢業，那裏畢業跟長遠發展沒有直接關係。

做工講能力，入到名氣大學只證明讀書能力比人高。

排名睇教授，大學請多D Top journal 的Chief Editor 和 Editor，排名自然高。

另英國沒有野雞大學，八九十年代很多理工轉做大學。

好多人只懂名校，睇吾起其它。正如香港，有分學術研究類，同理工職業導向型，好似理工，視光，物理治療，醫療化驗等等，港大中大嗰類係吾會開，上述科畢業後可以有認證同攞牌，正如英國也是，好多攞牌科都是開在理工型大學，有些較偏遠，學費又低，但讀嘅差不多，科目排名又吾差，可謂性價比相當高。當然家長同學生要下苦工用心去揾資料揀選。

其實英國大學比較多元化，選擇多，因材施教。
幾年前朋友細路GCSE英文唔合格，曼城有間大學收佢(近Salford附近)，但限佢選某些科目，另要求佢補考GCSE英文，Year1期間重考GCSE英文5次都唔合格，課程又追唔上，讀左一年後迫住轉讀其他科，再重新讀過Year1，今年終於畢業。佢好開心，個細路可以大學畢業。

其實吾係個個家庭都可以付出太多金錢，例如一年220以上學費，吾包其它，但吾代表就吾可以到外地升學，揀學校吾係top嗰批，但比心機考到1st hon, 畢業後一路做野，一路繼續進修，其實吾会差得边，到真係工作，拎到牌就係皇道，至少生活有保障，吾会有人問你出自何家。不過，講只是以職業為本學科，以小朋友興趣能力為依歸。共勉之

真係多謝你解釋，身為家長係呢段時間可以幫到仔女，多了解唔同大學，等佢哋揀到合適嘅就最安心，雖然好多人會話都18歲要放手俾佢哋自己攪，但我都想參與。

我女揀嗰科係六十間有開，都係有認證嘅 lab，有些更有好幾樣承認，尊西攻考某醫療牌，在英國執業，但重要亦要大機會同百分百回港也同時拎到牌照，所以揾嘅時候好辛苦，要比對牌照所教細項，香港開辦教嘅內容，英國那六十間幾乎七成當初連名都未聽過，名大學係吾會開，因為它們係主要訓練做research, 而其它理工型好多都係訓練出來做工，好似香港理工咁。這些大學，我揀有認證(某科)以經係信心保證，原則開得間間差無幾遠。六十間內需然有認證嗰科，但九成吾包單有placement, 要自已揾。Placement 好重要，係考到牌必定要有，但競爭劇烈，協助係有寫但字眼上係吾包，因此，那兩間揾出來係明確係有，一間y3做，全四年，另一間每年都在假期做些，濃縮做三年畢業，重者學費仲係相對吾貴。過要睇因素还多，例如，真係少亞洲面孔，怎或可能吾会有香港同學，校園較細，亦吾会係多姿多釆，係適合比較獨立同真係目標性強學生。當然我揀嗰科ok, 吾代表其它科ok, 我亦会睇網上吾同類型論壇講治安，生活便利，天氣等等作選擇。亦由於揀吾到心目中全五間，所以会再再研究，當中亦發現原來可以有另一科可以考慮而同時拎到牌。之前我問過三，四間Agent, 大圍嘅野佢地知，但真正知嘅野，問多兩問就穿底，可能自己一步一步去做research, 去問，去比對，知嘅比它們多的是。其實最近這一兩年，香港己多了不是純大科目廣座，開始家長鐘情真揾食科目，某些熱門考牌科如物理治療，係比較容易選擇，選擇只係香港可吾可以都攞到牌。真係科科吾同，越冷門越難揾越要時間同心機。揾到通常性價比都相當高，最後要小心睇大學網，細心睇佢地字眼，好些需然有Placement, 可國際生報讀，但那些placement 係同當地政府/NHS 合作，因應時勢而開辦課程，所以有政府資助，亦因為有這些，可能該placement 係只比本地生申請，真係要好小心反覆睇，吾明真係靠自已寫mail去確認，吾诜問Agent, 佢地都吾識同吾知，佢地吾会花咁多時間去研究較冷門科目。
