In the May 2022 IB DP examinations, 100% of our students registered for the full IB Diploma were successful, a statistic well above the global average. This is a remarkable achievement, provided that KCCIS is a non-selective IB World school. In addition, our mean point score is 36.2, which is above the global average of 31.98.
The IB DP is a rigorous yet rewarding academic course that opens the pathway to TOP World Universities. We are proud of our students and their achievements!

IB DP Results 2021
Congratulations to our class of 2021! This year, the IB Diploma cohort once again hit the 100% pass rate! The average score was an outstanding 37.1 points, outperforming the worldwide average. The average grade achieved was 5.91, way above the worldwide average. 41.2 % of our graduates achieved 40 points and above. Our college also celebrates the achievement of one of our students, Ryan Lin, who have achieved a perfect score of 45 points.
Our students have demonstrated remarkable resilience and fortitude by completing an amazing academic journey and exceeding the international benchmark once again! Our students have secured higher education places in a variety of prestigious university destinations across the world. A big thank you to all the teachers and families for their extraordinary support.

In the May 2020 IB DP examinations, our students flourished in these unprecedented times and equalled the highest average points score (38.0) in our history. Average grades for all IB subjects are above worldwide averages (4.95) for all IB subject groups. 35.0 % of students achieved an outstanding 40 or more IB Diploma points. 60 % of students attained 38 points or more. Our highest achiever achieved the full mark in the diploma (45/45 points).
KCCIS wishes to congratulate all those students who have achieved the IB Diploma and who have secured higher education places at the world’s leading universities such as University College London, Imperial College London, King’s College London, The University of Manchester, The University of Birmingham, Amherst College, University of California-Santa Cruz, University of Michigan, National University of Singapore, University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

We are now pleased to announce that all of our Year 13 students studying the IB Diploma have been awarded a Diploma (100 % pass rate). 18 % of students achieved 40 or more IB points.
The school attributes this success to our principle of developing a caring, supportive environment, which allows students to achieve beyond expectations. Small class sizes, and a skilled teaching staff have enabled students to fulfil their potential and become sought after candidates for local and international universities.
Members of the class of 2019 have now taken up places at the world’s leading universities such as King’s College London, New York University, University of Birmingham, Cardiff University, University of Amsterdam, University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

In the May 2018 IB DP examinations, 97.2 % of our students registered for the full IB Diploma were successful, a statistic well above the world average. This is a remarkable achievement given that KCCIS is a non-selective IB World School. Our mean point score is 37, which is way above the global average. Average grades for all IB subjects are also above worldwide averages for all IB subject groups indicating that our students performed brilliantly across the curriculum groups. Regarding individual student performance, 33.3 % of students achieved 40 or more IB points. Four students achieved the distinction of scoring 44 out of a maximum of 45 point.

In the May 2017 IBDP examinations, 100% of our students registered for the full IB Diploma were successful, a statistic well above the global average of around 79.3%*. This is a remarkable achievement provided that KCCIS is a non-selective IB World school. Our mean point score is 35.1, which is above the global average of 30.07*. Average grades for all IB subjects are well above worldwide averages for all IB subject groups indicating that our students performed brilliantly across the curriculum. Our students achieved an average of 5.51 IB points per subject compared to 4.80* worldwide. Additionally, 31.2% of the cohort received the prestigious IB Bilingual Diploma, which recognizes students who have achieved native or near-native level in two languages!
Regarding individual student performance, 5 students (31.25% of the cohort) achieved an IB score of 40 and above, which is considered the threshold for admission to the world’s best universities. Our highest achiever achieved the distinction of scoring 42 out of a maximum of 45 point.
