My personal opinion - if you intend to stay for 12 yrs ( till Form 6) in the school, then DGJS is better. cuz SSCPS is a great and happy school but I haven't heard too much about St Stephens secondary school. Most people I know switched after P6. Of course there are ppl who switched from DGJS too but I think you should do some research on both secondary schools too.
In any case if you want to switch to international school or go abroad at some point, both schools have had good results of students going to good schools so I won't worry about that. Both have good eng curriculum so Eng fluency won't be an issue.
It also depends on your daughter's character..DGJS trains the girls to be confident and always want to be the best. SSCPS is more nurturing. Academically DGJS is more challenging obviously so you need to be prepared to cope with that.
Anyway, having a choice is a good problem to have. Congratulations!
