是的，Student VISA 到期前，人在英國申請便可以了，所以有很多時間考慮。自己申請的，不用經大學。

我好支持仔女自己揀科、選擇職業、決定長居喺乜嘢地方（有外國護照）。

難得有外國工作機會，我都鼓勵試吓先，唔鍾意至返香港。就算申請唔到Tier 2 VISA，都可以申請兩年graduate VISA，三日就批。

不過一個女仔在外，尤其冬天返工放工都係天黑，難免擔心，我個女生得細粒，已經俾人搶過兩次電話，偷過一次。

為安全起見，租屋我揀有管理員嘅flat, corporate landlord 方便call 維修。之前住Airbnb 兩個月，雪櫃壞咗一排landlord 只肯reimburse 買冰，搬走嗰日壞電梯仲要俾錢大隻佬搬運。

阿仔有講apply這些job, 但最後都唔成功，唔知係咪無做過這方面工作好難見成！見佢搵工搵到有啲灰！其實audit會否易啲呢？他畢業後搵了5個多月工

今年開始可以申請graduate visa (好似係2年期), 可自由工作. It can be an option. But this will not count towards permanent residency. Somehow, 應該還是需要在 這graduate visa 到期前另申請 work visa.

Oooops! Sorry - my memories did not serve me well up there:

Registration with HCPC is not automatic - only the fulfillment of the recognised course will be passed by the Uni to the HCPC and "recorded" by HCPC automatically. This is important though, but no action is required of the student.

However, registration with HCPC has to be applied and approved. A form needs to be filled in, with the necessary documents (IDs? diploma? I forgot) and supposedly certified copies of the documents (check the form and the guidelines). During Covid-19, electronic copies with a declaration by the applicant were accepted. I don't know whether it is still the case today. If they go back to the normal procedure, paper copies and certified copies of necessary documents will be required. This is a little bit tricky, but I believe it is very doable.

Regarding registration with HK PT board, yes, they require certified true copies. Normally it could be done by an "oath commissioner" (usually can be found at a 民政署). So happen that at the office accepting the application, it seems there is someone with this "oath commissioner" qualification. (Good service :))
Yes, you could also have a solicitor/medical practitioner (i.e. a licensed medical doctor)/ registered PT do the "certifying". Mind you that this PT needs to be a HK-registered PT. I would say it is much easier to do the certified true copies in HK. (BTW, the application submission can be done by mail, or by someone on behalf - so, the original form, etc. can be mailed or couriered back home and a representative of the applicant can bring the application to the registrar office on behalf. However, I have no experience in this)

I would say to prepare for registration with the HK board, filling in the course information (including the placement hours) and having this page signed and chopped by the uni is the thing that better be done at the time of course completion, after hcpc registration done, while the responsible lecturer is still there and still remember you. Not a lot of info, just a table listing all the courses, duration/hours of each, placements, clinical tutor experience during placement. No need to worry about this now, it can wait.

以我所知在香港註冊時，交文件要certified true copy, 要lawyer or Physiotherapist幫你簽，是否應該在畢業時在英國完成埋呢個步驟？謝謝。

NHS 的確大量空缺，但international student其實唔容易成功就業，好少聽到身邊有人講畢業後搵到工可以留低。

女試過學校有活動, 放9點, call uber返家 , 佢地習慣係坐前面, 司機一上車就一個大 ...

我哋喺英國唔call Uber, 亞女放假要返奶奶家，如果奶奶晤得閒接，我哋會叫學校代call taxi (本地的士，即多數啲司機都住喺嗰區，每次都會有個司機名，電話比返我地）。我哋有時都用呢間的士公司，喺機場接女。
Uber 太雜，但要考的士牌係好難。仲有，坐Uber 或的士，最好坐後面，同司機對角位。英國人唔係一個對陌生人/外國人熱情嘅民族，所以，小心咸豬手。

UK, PT 攞牌 = registration with HCPC. Uni 應該會在學生完成所有要求 (credits, 和 clinical placements全部 pass) 就會通知 HCPC, applicant 要填好application form, 連同ID, documents, photos, copies, etc. apply. Details 還請親自看清楚, 我都記錯了, sorry! CSP (不是必須的) 就要申請,不過只是procedure, recognised course 畢業基本一定得. 呢D 你女兒應該都知道, 不用擔心.
HK攞牌 有點細節要留意. 如果要回來執業, 最好在畢業不久, HCPC注冊後 還留在UK時先把form 和需要的文件填好和學校的簽名蓋章. 有時間可以先看看 physiotherapists board 的網頁, 但暫時不用急,搞掂last year特別是placement先.


應該明年初會開始有好多recruitment ad, 全囯NHS都會recruit fresh grad ("Band 5"), 多數是所謂的rotational, 1-2年的不同部門/specialty的 rotation. 可按志向挑哪region/district apply. uni 所在本區機會應該比較大. 如果NHS肯請 (recruit ad 應會講是否接納非本地人),就要幫他申請visa. 但不是很普遍的,有的甚至從來沒有請過international fresh intake的,真的要看那醫院/機構願意否. 還有, 好多時候需要車牌 - 攞左未?


但uni 應該會有專門的career counselling的. 令嬡會有support吧
