My case is a bit similar to yours. I originally planned to move to the UK 2 to 3 years later but the recent acceleration prompted me to act this year. I would love to send both my girls to private day schools, but the elder girl wants boarding so I let her do it. I only consider schools with high boarding ratio. Weekly boarding is meaningless and troublesome unless you live very close. The boarding school will be 45 min drive away from my home but I already feel headached that I need to drive both ways once every few weeks, not to mention weekly.
