Can anyone tell what is BRP? I have read some information which talks about going to police station or post office to get one. Will school allow full boarder to go out to get it ? Can student do it online?

I found BRP collection info in the visa application form. It asked if I want to collect the BRP in post office or other collection points. I finally asked the agent and got the code representing our school. So, the collection location is assigned when u apply for the visa. If your visa is applied through agent, guess that they would direct it to your school, no worry.
In terms of insurance, NHS is compulsory and need to pay together with visa application.
Other insurance is optional. I have gone through an insurance policy provided by a foundation course. It’s similar to travel insurance.
I am not an experienced parent. BRP Biometric Residence Permit is a card showing personal information and visa validity period. There is no need to bring it along with you when you study at UK. It will only be checked at immigration. The BRP is going to be digital. Students applying their visa at North Point will receive a BRP at post office or police office at UK. Alternatively, students can collect their BRP at school. Check whether your school can do so or not. If students apply their visa online and verify their identity through the Identity app, there will be no BRP hard copy and no need to collect.
