Hi all,
My child is now studying in K2 in Victoria Kintergarden. We've obtained an offer from CAIS for preparatory for the year 2021-2022. However, we would like to pursue for VSA for their 2022-2023 year and the results for the VSA interview will be announced on May 2021. The interview results for VSA would be
1) acceptance
2) waitlist
3) decline
As there is only a 1/4 chance of my child getting into VSA(25% chance are advised by VSA teachers), it would be likely that my child would be offered a waitlist. If that happens, I would be caught in a dillema:
1) Forfeit the CAIS spot for 2021-2022 and attend VEO K3 and stay in the waitlist spot until there is a spot, and who knows, there might not be a spot for my child and I will need to find an alternative school. Losing both CAIS and VSA offer or obtained the VSA offer in the end.
2) Accept the CAIS spot for 2021-2022 which means I gave up the VSA waitlist as VSA has confirmed with me that the waitlist spot will be cancelled automatically if I don't stay in VEO for K3.
I am very struggled in which route I shall pick. Can anyone who has these past experience give me some advise. Thanks alot in advance! |
