The Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) with at least 2 academic elective subjects from Categories A and or C.
Grades required for admission will vary by program but based on the HKDSE grading scale, the minimum average needed to fall within the competitive range is 4.
Current S6 grades will be used when making admission decisions. Predicted final grades are not used.

S6 Mathematics with Mathematics Module 1 (Calculus and Statistics) or Module 2 (Algebra and Calculus). Minimum Mathematics grades of 4/5.

你朋友的孩子現在係香港定係加拿大？用DSE 成績申請入UBC? 是否要求好高？

朋友孩子仍在香港。我無問過佢DSE 成績，但佢係沙田讀Band 1A 津中，校內成績不差的
