插班灣仔St Joe

初小讀高主教維持級1至5名（舊年老師無講實際名次），一直唸住讀完小學先算，呢排知道多人走，一叩St Joe門就收左。如果錢完全唔係考慮因素，我又唔特別心儀QC & LS，應該轉校嗎？其實又唔特別一定要讀邊間DBS, SPCC果d, 因為高中9成9過英國讀書。不過唔知入左St Joe重大唔大機會中學考入其他有名直資？

我想簡單問一句

團結精神和歸屬感是一種自身體驗，轉校後可能會更有歸屬感呢，也很難說，但也不同意轉校頻繁，最緊要是小朋友自願，不能回頭。
我對以上學校都沒太大研究，只到過SJPS兩次，覺得校舍設施實在不吸引，除讀書之外，樓主對課外活動等又如何比較？

SJPS 轉直，個人覺得值得轉嘅只有一間。RCPS，值得轉直嘅有多於一間。轉直難唔難，視乎轉邊間啦，亦未必係易事，當中兩者似乎仲有分別吧～～～

不論RC 或SJPS ，keep到級頭前列的話，想轉名直資應該不難
反而要考慮小朋友需要時間適應不同的學習環境，不如揀一間心儀嘅一步到位

本身都係兩間小學的家長，兩間學校的學術程度差唔多，小朋友學術方面適應應該沒太大問題

點解唔至在入名直資, 又擔心昇中後轉唔到?

That percentage is overall  percentage that promote to universities in HKplease compare by percentage of students attaining the results ..4+ or 5+ or compare on some science individual subjects...

講真, 有邊間頭個浸唔會考下其他學校? DB, SPCS MCS都會積極鋪排考SPCC/DG啦...(呢啲都係我識嘅人，讀得呢啲通常都想去最好嘅學校）個別歸屬感特別強嘅另作別論.

SJC is a good choice if you plan to send your son to further study in UK as it is one of the best local schools in terms of English standard.
Regarding its DSE results, its 4+ and 5+ percentages are decent except for Chinese. Chinese is always the its weakest link. It's Chinese DSE result is just mediocre and can only comparable to a Band 1C / 2A school.

QC, LSC and probably SPB may have better DSE results than SJC but the differences cannot be considered as significant. Only SPCC DSE results are obviously better than SJC. For a SJPS student, i don't it is justified to switch to another secondary school just because of a few % better in DSE 5+.

Without any shadow of doubt, Chinese DSE result is crucial to the JUPAS admission but a high proficiency in English can always benefit your tertiary education and career.

Just my two cents.

既然係至少同級兼又有直中，如果阿仔鐘意咪轉囉，依家咁既環境，梗戊係留多個錢係身邊會好D。

至於升中仲考唔考其它中學？睇令朗有冇本事啦！

SJPS班家長好心水清，近年頭個浸升中時都好積極想出走

唔講DB 先，你有冇睇過LS dse 盤數？SJC 盤數又有冇睇過？LS 是神校之一，SJC 未係。雖然你未必喺度考dse, 但用成績做比較就係睇條數。

DB , LS 點會同SJC 同grade .  你了解清楚未㗎？

呢個2019年成績，SPB係培僑後面，遠遠係sjc 後面
