ESF Wukaisha Kindergarden - quite unacceptable

HI all,

I am a mother of 2 year's old daughter(born in Aug 2017). We have applied for a K1 place in Year 2020 at ESF Wukaisha Kindergarden(We lived nearby). However, I just received their notification that they will not even arrange an interview for my daughter. I called to ask the reason and the teacher replied that they have overwhelmed application this year, which is 400+ application and they can only arrange 250 quota for applicants arranged for an interview.

This is quite unacceptable to me. This limited 250 interview quota is not even disclosed in public information. Their application fee is hkd500 which is not refundable even without an interview arrangement!!! This is outrageous!!! I am very very angry and disappointed but seems no further action could be taken.

Any parents can provide any guidance or solutions to this circumstance? Or share more information about other ESF kindergarden's application process?

不過K2插班唔係guarantee有得in小學嗎？

疫情影響唔少人，好多人工作要relocate，ESF之前都出好多招生廣告

We did not accept the Hillside offer for our girl because she went to another one.

We applied both Hillside and my girl’s school the next year for our son.

細仔 - 龍仔，有Call 同去interview，同大女一樣， 講到明 in 到都係 waitlist, 最後無位

真係越來越難有位
