ESF & Nord Anglia 一問

朋友想讀國際學校，但身邊又無用家可以問，佢想了解ESF and Nord Anglia兩間學校的

1. 英文和中文教學，如兩者比重、中文程度
2. 教學方式

希望大家可以分享一下，謝謝！

我暫時未見過用嚟教中文嘅課本，只見過工作紙同assessment問嘅字。工作紙見y1小朋友要寫爸爸媽媽哥哥姐姐弟弟妹妹、數字、一堆部首嘅簡體字。
亦要從一堆冇教過嘅字，搵個返部首。
Assessment（認字） 就見到老師問咗大概30個字，有顏色、身體部位、遊戲名稱等等。

That is the mainland standard Chinese, more literature oriented. This is the indeed the Year 1 textbook, partly adopted from standard textbook for Grade 1 of mainland system

Personally I found it difficult.  They also study Chinese poems, writing and pinyi.  Almost 90% of students in the top Chinese stream are PRC Chinese or Singaporean.  Maybe for them this is not difficult but definitely not for HKer.

呢個係真，又要中文好，又要多外國人，多外國人又擔心discipline......冇限loop.

知道自己的preference, 有什麼要取捨。always no prefect school for everyone.

depends on school, cwb, peak should be very mixed. while sjs is very local

Even at CWBS, it’s getting more and more local these days.  There are fewer Caucasians than in the previous years especially when there are more choices nearby.
