請問有關visa 的 police registration

請問應該去Overseas Visitors Records Office 做定係local police station?  網上話 if you live in the City of London, contact your local police station.  但又提到 ‘Register at Overseas Visitors Records Office if you live in area of London by the Metropolitan Police.’

因行程緊迫，唔想去錯，請問大家有無這方面的經驗？做登記的時間大約要幾耐？謝謝。

If you haven’t collected your biometric residence permit(BRP) from the Post Office by the time you visit the OVRO, that’s OK. We can accept your Home Office letter approving your application for leave.

有 "Home office letter approving your application for leave" 嗎？

我都想，但一定要有BRP先可以，問Agent學校是否有協助服務做登記，佢話就算沒有，仔16+應該自己處理到，要放手，這不是放唔放手問題，而系仔第一次人在異地， 換轉係我自己我都擔心啦!
