Lam Tin was a local school conversion. So it does look smaller than those purposely-built new IS (e.g. Malvern). But it works fine with all basic facilities (e.g. indoor swimming pool, outdoor playground, etc...).

Different year groups also have different lunch hours so not all children are out in the canteen and  playground at the same time.

We had accepted the offer for nursery at Sai Kung. But when I go to the Lam Tin Campus, I found it is little bit smaller than I expected. And just wondering is the campus space is enough for primary & secondary ?

This year, there are 7 Year 1 classes (5 in Lam Tin, 1 in Sai Kung and 1 in Tai Tam) and 5 Year 2 classes (all in Lam Tin). Lam Tin has maximum 24 students per class while Sai Kung and Tai Tam have a smaller class size (still new).

Next year, I think they will cut down the number of Year 1 classes in Lam Tin and have 6 Year 2 classes. And they will keep 5 classes from Year 3 to 6.

This is the first year for their pre-schools. As the pre-schools grow, it will be more difficult to join from Year 1 or 2, unless your child has a foreign passport.

P.S. My son is in Year 1 (Lam Tin).

May I know how many class at year 2 - year 10? How many students per class?

I m also considering other international school, both are nice schools with good comments from the parents.I want to visit the Lam tin campus before I make the choice, as nais is a through train school, once I accept the offer, that means I also plan my son studying there for 1X years.

it seems they have 2 ways to do so, 100K at once or 50K now 50K before coming Mar.

Thanks, guess he did similar things inside the classroom as your son did, my son also told me that he played LEGO, bicycle and outdoor playground, just without book reading

my boy's case, 2 days, play visit on Wed. and got offer on Fri. On that day only two kids came for assessment, My son told me, the teacher played Lego with them and did some book reading. About 30min in the assessment room.

Hi, my son just had a play visit today and he had lots of fun there, but I really have no idea of what he did inside the classroom as me and him were totally separated during the whole session, would you mind telling me when will I know the assessment result or the application result after the play visit? Thanks a lot
