聽講BHS暑假時都會有翻新，應該不錯。
另外想多了解BHS的校風和中文程度如何？聽講sjs學術要求高D（或者家長較多外補），如果小朋友target升番shatin college比起sjs升上去的學生會唔會有壓力？

請問BHS校舍較細，但是否近年番新了？見RC, KJS的課室很大，又有common hub,不知BHS情況怎樣？

個人其實重視軟件多於硬件，但怕小孩從現校大課室轉去，未感受到好處已經先抗拒

Thanks for sharing. Its very helpful. Glad to know the chinese levels in RC and BHS are similar. My fd's kid studies in RC and she is very happy with the Chinese level there.
I have been reading the weekly newsletter of BHS to understand more about its way of teaching. is it correct that weekly newsletter of RC is not available to non parents?

假設現階段問這種 esf xxx vs rc問題的都是esf 幼稚園學生家長，其實就近入學的話，一定是首選esf的小學。
esf小學之間(包括rc & dc)，無論是教學定學生成績，分別不大; 大家都是行ibpyp學制，老師資歷也近似。

真要說分別，應是students mixed; 如Peak school真的以expat students為主，相比九龍/新界區以言。之前有跟孩子參加esf joint school events，感覺是學校水平差不多。

其次是中文學習，小學的中文課時和課程評核相近，rc只不過有以繁體字上課的chinese class，所以感覺上以為好點; 其實按pathway分，所有esf 小學用同一把尺，rc學生裡屬pathway 3的多一些。

接著才論硬件，所有新校的設施當然好些; kjs就是相當齊備的校舍，而rc & dc均有泳池上游水課等。最後是it設施，rc 由於是中學部，小學部一起，資源中心共用，所以it 學習起步也較早。year 6 那年就需要帶laptop上學; 有些家長如認為it是洪水猛獸，就要調節心態。

再說大校如rc有何壞處?

學生多，早上8:30前，高人矮人共冶一爐，小的y1-3天不怕地不怕，真的會在籃球場上跑來跑去;  也會有樣學樣一起打籃球。(如: 幾個波同時擲向籃球圈)

但我在rc已第九個年頭，未曾聽過大蝦細事件，高年級好錫低年級就經常見。

學校雖大，但一班仍是28人跟一位class teacher及EA，加上有SEN teachers照顧個別需要同學，rc在這方面資源算不錯。

越上高年級，課外活動越多，跨區到馬鞍山讀rc要有搬屋的準備。(我自己的經驗之談)

In term of 教學方面, what is the biggest difference betwee RC and BHS?

For chinese, other than traditional / simplied fonts, is there any difference, like the time spent per week, the level of difficulty?

RC is really far away. I wonder if my kid can still join their after school activities. For BHS, it would be easier to arrange. Same for parents involvement. I understand it has some activities like story telling or curry night after school. if its too far, it may be diffcult for us to participate.

Seems that RC's academic result is a bit weak last year compared with ST or KGV. not sure if it reflects the learning atmosphere.

no idea how difficult for kids who learn simplified chinese to understand and use traditional one.

these are my concern, grateful for your sharing. is there any other thing i need to consider? thanks

bhs 細，以 year 1 計，有些小朋友性格較適合細校，尤其文靜孩子。
rc 和 sjs kjs 一樣，規模大，適合有自 ...
