考year 1 攻略

小女係2014 dec細B, 而家喺ESF K1. 我最希望都係入到ESF foundation school或 RCHK. 我應該要考多幾間/邊間back up呢？ 我地無foreign passport.小女唔算外向但英文唔錯。

ICS- 無讀KG應該唔洗諗
CAIS-唔想比debenture (2 kids)
NAIS-校舍都未定到？
anfield/JIS/NIS- 無中學back up (沙頭角真係接受唔到)
港島區不考慮
對近年成立嘅新校未夠信心

仲有無邊間係可以考慮？
戴返頭盔先， 話back up唔代表呢啲學校唔好， 只係綜合各個因素(地點/學費/學制/往績) 後ESF最啱心水。

Yes. Currently there are three campuses running parallely. Lam tin, sai kung and tai tam. The first two are permanent campuses while tai tam one is temporary but maybe able to turn permanent later.
Lamtin is from year 1 onwards and the other two offer nursery to year 3

Yes. But only reception to year 1. Correct me if I am wrong.

Then Anfield as backup is perfect it is a catholic school, BTW there are many secondary spots since a lot of kids will go overseas, so don't need to worry too early.

CAIS我其實麻麻地，一黎debenture貴， 二黎我地係catholic,  讀christian school好似有點怪， 三黎alberta curriculum比較冷門。

I would think so, it was switched back to previous process last minute (31/Aug) because EBD did not approve the application fee in time.  RC & DC current application fee is $1500 and the plan was to raise to $2000 for one-form application.

NAIS-校舍都未定到 -> they will have 4th campus, but the Lam tin, Sai Kung campus are fixed.  However the year 1 interview was conducted already in Nov, accepting the offer will need to pay 100k... doesn't sounds like a good back up plan.

I was thinking about FIS, but now as I got guarantee spots for KJS, and interview opportunity for RC and DC.  I am not going to apply now, but you can have a look.

next year, ESF should be able to implement the One-form application, which means you cannot apply 1 foundations + 2 PIS, you only get one interview with your 1st choice within ESF.

之前有forum前輩分享過，不過我懶得搵，你試吓自己爬文，方法如下：
做research跟住將學校分3類，然後3類都要最少報1間:
1. 好想入但難入
2. 都ok但唔太難入
3. 唔多想入但易入

另外就係要問清楚呢啲學校幾時in，幾時俾offer，幾時要confirm offer，要俾幾錢deposit to secure the seat，同埋有冇得refund。

How about American international school?  
FIS tko campus ? Fis 現在才報又可能遲左d。另外，如果係9-12 月出生，又要留意返每間學校cut off time

back up 是以最大機會入到為目標。那些未有中學的IS可能入到機會比較高, 因為大家都想搵有一條龍學校。

而家阿女讀K1, 應該出年先報。
