admission to ESF K1 question

In ESF website , it said

December
Parents receive interview status notification letters.

Invitation to interview with guaranteed place if successful; or
Invitation to interview with entry wait list place if successful; or
Confirmation of wait listing for possible future interview opportunity.

Do anyone of you know the criteria for these 3 different status ?  Thanks.

You should know fm the letter, will hv diff letter templates.

My kid received a play visit invitation on 16 Jan fm hillside.

The email is difference fm yours.

No in my email it did not mention about reserve list. I will not use the word "category 1/2" as it causes confusion to ESF old admission criteria. But I recall at their earlier email it said there are three "status":

I guess your kid should be in the second group then.

i called Tsing Yi ESF, they said all applicants would be granted an interview.  And you won't know whether you have a good sequence until you receive the letter of result.
