Okay but I really wonder which campus you are talking about. The parents that I know from both campuses only have good things to say about them. Is your son quitting this school soon?

Actually my daughter also got some complaints/opinions from teachers at the start of term, try to work on it and don’t take on too much hard feelings. At the end my daughter did improve after my effort and teachers reinforced by praising her a lot when she did it right, she got mostly good comments at the end of term.

Depends on your kid, like my kid she is interested in numbers, so during nursery class teachers will teach her extra on numbers and counting and I really don’t feel they are laid back in academics. I think they are just doing age and kid appropriate things and they will not hold back if the kid is ready and more receptive.

Yes I agree, it really depends on what the parents want their kids to learn and how they definite "knowledge". Some parents value academic performance, and want their kids to be competitive, some parents are laid back and only want the kids to have fun and learn more about the environment and life around them. Anfield definitely doesn't force the kids and they don't teach handwriting until later in K1, but rather they have different activities to get their fine motor muscles ready for it. They don't need the kids to learn all the alphabets and number until later in K1 either but the kids would be able to read short paragraphs by themselves by K2. So if you are measuring things using the local school rulers then it may not be your cup of tea.

I think Anfield is a not bad school. But then I let my kids join Tutor Time summer program last summer, and surprisingly they love it a lot. So I moved them from Anfield to tutor time. I think both school have great curriculum, but then I found out that my kids are willing to share more and learn faster at TT.  

My suggestion is to let your child try the summer program, then you ll know which one works the best.

My son has studied both LV and KT campus. Anfield is a very loving kindergarten. Depends what you mean by academics and how you measure it, it's not like local schools where you will get homework and there are no tests or exams. Their phonics is very good though.

thx for the info!我住黃埔，岩岩報左kln tong playgroup。原本一直打算報WP，但岩岩發現黎緊WP只會得返Sat有playgroup，好失望又大失預算。Kln tong唔近地鐵，對我黎講其實幾唔方便。可能如你所講，睇下到時有無人都住附近一齊搭車~

Depends on where you live obvious but generally you expect to pay around $2k-2.4k a month, and they need you to pay by school term.
If you have someone to help you I say it's better you catch a cab and perhaps share the costs with a classmate after you get to know people who live in your area. That's what I have been doing too.
