My kid got the provisional offer.  I have the same question and I have phone contacted the admission ...

We just got the call waiting offer for prep and we have to confirm by Mar 1 with post dated cheque dated Mar 21.  As we are still waiting for the result of one more IS, I wonder if the school would allow us to cancel the cheque by Mar 21 without penalty.  Anyone took the first round offer and later released it before cheque payment?  Can anyone share your experience?  thanks!!

Will there be Any update from the Admissions office after returning the ICN and acceptance form? Or they won't contact us until they got approval from Education Bureau? I returned the forms before Feb6, but didn't heard from CAIS, just worry of missing anything out

I realised there will be interviews for both the kid and parents.  Is the kid's interview a group one or individual one?  Do we need to prepare the "portfolio" to the school?

I planned to apply for prep class for my daughter later this year, and thus would like to know more and prepare well in advance...

My kid got the provisional offer.  I have the same question and I have phone contacted the admission office yesterday that we can cancel the 450k cheque before 23 Feb without any penalty (but 15% will be charged after 23 Feb).

Once you return the acceptance form with the ICN form, you already accepted the provisional offer. Which means they will apply 15% on the ICN face value if you finally decided not to study there. Whenever you decline the offer within 12 months after you accepted it, they will charge you 15%, I think they count from Feb6 for 12 months, feb6 is the deadline to return the acceptance. Correct me if my understanding is wrong. I will call the admission office after Chinese New Year.

I don't know either.  It seems on the cover letter. What we have to pay is the post dated cheque, nothing else.
