PY2 is all about happy schooling... very few homework / tests, but kids' foundation in English, Chinese/ PTH would be built up by the day.

yes, they would release a few in different months, batch by batch, from April till August. No one knows exactly how many seats would be released in this period, but from past experience, letters of offer would be received by successful candidates from April till the beginning of academic year in August.

SIS releases offers by batches. Some seats are reserved for Singaporean kids who come to HK between the interview days (January) and the beginning of a school term (August).

Don't forget the main aim of SIS in HK, basically, is to serve the needs of Singapore's own citizens in HK. The families may come to HK for job opportunities of the parents. The timing of their coming, of cos, is quite random/sporadic. Therefore, such practice is to protect the own rights/benefits of their citizens. After all, Singapore government is like a 'parent' to their citizens, which we HK ppl cannot feel the same from our HK Government, esp. the present one...haha

My advice is, the younger the kids change school, the easier they can adapt to the new environment....
True it is that SIS provides excellent environment/means to equip kids with strong foundation in English, Chinese, Maths & Science etc, but be prepared to face challenges in the level of difficulty, esp. in Chinese... but again, the earlier you come, the easier the adaptation would be...
