中大醫？港大醫？

中大電話要求put CU medicine as first choice 就肯定錄取。

如果報港大醫as first choice, 中大醫as second choice，是否會失去中大的錄取機會？

不明白為什麼把first choice作為錄取條件？院校應該看不到學生的choice?

要九個月前訂假期，是否特殊情況，抑或正常情況？

警方接獲懷疑有醫院職員用假文件請假的報案，上月底拘捕一名26歲醫院女職員，涉嫌「行使虛假文書」。據了解，該名女職員是沙田威爾斯親王醫院的女醫生，今年初涉以考試為由，提供假的證明文件，向主管請假3天，但被揭發文件有可疑。

消息指，涉事女醫生畢業於中大醫學院，去年取得執業資格，現於沙田威爾斯親王醫院工作。她今年3月初以考試為由，提供有關證明文件，向上司請假。但上司認為文件有可疑，遂向女醫生查問，女醫生承認有關證明屬虛假，威院於是透過醫院管理局報警。東網已向威院查詢有關事件

No one can answer  your question for 100% sure. But you know your score is a marginal case for both schools (in fact 36 is the lowest entry mark for HKU last year). Ask yourself which of the following will upset you most: (1) Can't study medic at HKU or (2) Can't study medic at all in HK, need to study and work as something else in future. Then you know very well how to make your choice.

have you attended interview of both medical schools before result announcement?  My son 's friend having same marks as yours has received calls from both universities already,  have you?

It really depends your favour of which medical school, go ahead to enrol your favourite school, if not,  you will feel regret!

even if they know your priority, it really doesn't matter as long as you meet their requirement & put them in A choice.

I know quite a number students putting CU medi in higher priority than HKU Medi. HKU medi is no longer better than CU Medi in all aspects.
In other words, both medi schools can no longer "guess" the students' priority. It is meaningless to guess. They can only give offers to as many as eligible students and let the students priority count.

If the score is high, put HKU as A1, so go to HKU MBBS.

But in my case, CU would definitely know I didn't put it as 1st choice.

Not necessary, if A1, A2, A3 have very close admission scores, you can't say which one is A1 or A3.

Medicine and some programs forced you to put in A1, so if A2 and A3 have significant difference, you can deduce the priorities.

It's very easy, MBChB must be A1, other two programs may have different admission scores, you won't put a low admission score program before a high admission score program, so it's very easy to know your rational priorities.
