請問對入CKY來說, KV 或是 Victoria 比較有優勢?

Yes and if you like CKY style (inquiry based ) teaching,  you have the benefit of getting into VSA as a Victoria kindergarten student.

I know some people living on the Kowloon side trying to switch from  VSA to CKY due of lesser school fees and proximity.

And if you look at Victoria K3 students primary school destination, you will see that many landed other IB schools other than VSA.

ESF 3
CAIS 3
Yew Chung 1
Renaissance College 1

CKY teaches in Eng and PTH, so I would say stay in Victoria.

KV is not inquiry based learning and doesn't align with CKY too.

at KV, the first thing you learn in K1 is to put your head down on the table,  be still and only move if you are told to. (some parents finds it inhumane while some thinks this is "discipline")

My take on discipline is rather different.   Discipline is when a child chooses to behave because he understands why he should and not because his freedom is restricted. )

Expect to write 100 chinese characters each day in K2 for homework.

My friends son Vic bilingual to CKY has no problem with Eng and PTH at all but needs extra attention on Math.

Ps:  CKy p1 Chinese taught in Cantonese so expect your child to lose some PTH learnt from kindergarten.  But it will. come. back in P2.

CKY is so hard to get into and all of you got in.. would appreciate any tips to prepare ourselves!

Chinese... no words recognition or reading in Cantonese nor PTH.

But children need to answer some casual questions in Cantonese,  possibly to assess the children's manners and attitude.
