That means the assessment test has different grades and only the top graded "Excellent" has the chance to get an offer,,   then... the formula = Excellent in assessment test + good English speaking.
Knowing that the waiting list is quite long and it will be longer and longer after each assessment tests.  May I ask any mami in waiting list but got the offer afterwards?

Is a regular practice to have people on wait list. I think every school have a wait list of its own, school can call the student on wait list immediately right after there is withdrawal. Moreover, there is always decline of offer which is another reason to have wait list.

You see, there's a gap between PASS and EXCELLENT.

Knowing that it is so difficult to get a place.. Just wonder why passed the assessment but no vacancy?  If no vacancy then why to arrange assessment test for applicants?   Is the successful formula = native English speaking + passed the assessment ?r other requirements? Any successful mami can share? Thanks

They emphasized that all the time they are looking for native English speakers even at k1.

Thanks, my friend's situation is a bit like yours, got a pass but no vacancy for k1 and still waiting. It seems he needs to get prepared to go to other school first.

After receiving the letter, you can call the admission office and ask for assessment comment. Just to share, my son passed K1 assessment but no offer at the end due to no vacancy (we have no priorities). We were invited for K2 assessment free of charge but my son didn't pass. We tried the last time for Y1 this Jan and still got rejected. For Y1 entry, GSIS is really looking for native speaking kids (English as 1st language) with no grammatical errors in their spoken English.

They will send out letter saying that it's accepted, rejected or waiting list. If rejected you can call them to find out the reason.
