[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]小兒有幸收到CKY offer，另有傳統男校offer，十分喜歡cky的教學模式和語境，希望多了解學校，為小兒作出正確的選擇，所以希望現任的cky家長幫忙解答以下的問題：
[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]入讀cky是否必須預算海外升學？讀完IB升讀本地大學的機會大嗎？要好高分？中產家庭，有能力[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]應付12年學費，但若加上海外升學的學費就十分吃力了。
[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]除了學費和校車費，還有什麼雜費？課外活動要收錢嗎？
[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]功課量如何？是否要做很多project?需要家長幫忙嗎？如家長英文不是太好（簡單溝通尚可），可以應付嗎？
[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]程度是否淺過傳統學校？聽說有些家長因為這點而不滿並中途跳船。
[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]劉校長可能會退休，你們擔心嗎？學校有沒有理想的人選？
[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]全級180人，每位小朋友都有機會表演或發揮才能嗎？
[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]學校的品德教育如何？
[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]有人話考IB比DSE更困難，如何看一個小朋友是否適合讀IB?

Totally agree with you.

Accent is more a matter of pride to parents now.

Singaporeans, and even Australians are not having good english accents but they are working well in big international companies without a problem.

Expecting native English speaking or accents in a school with over 50% chinese is 吹毛求疵。

How could some parents are expecting kids could speak a good english native accent whom come from a pure local school !!!  This is so funny to me indeed.
1) accent is not the most important element of English or learning english
2) do you parents speak fluent english as well
3) do you parents use english as the first language at home

I think how to use english, how to write correct english, and how to pronounce properly are more importantly to kids.

Parents, pls try to pronounce these few words
PURPOSE
FIRST
TREE
BEDROOM

I 100% sure not all parents could pronounce them properly

Agree. They don't have problem speaking their first language but some may have problem spelling words ...LoL....

How can a British by ethnicity not speak good English? Unless you may be referring to a British by nationality who are actually immigrants from non English speaking countries...or cases like Chinese students studying in the uk for years but still not speaking fluent English?

我很少上EK, 我的兒子還有大約一個月就Year 5 小學畢業了。今天剛巧心血來潮來EK八下，了解吓各位比我年輕的家長

我看各位主要關心語文問題，現實Ｄ講句，咁貴學費，究竟值唔值？

我的兒子今天交畢業論文了，他寫了三千字的中文評論，至於英文，100%在學校完成，我一隻字都未見過！

但是他的中文英文好不好呢？老實說，很一般，英文更加愈講愈差…

是cky問題嗎？我不認為。反正他的同學真的說得很流俐的。我相信他愈大愈懶講好的英文，同學愈流俐，他心愈急，什麼Chinlish都來了！假如各位Open day 碰上犬兒，我肯定佢口快快說廣東話！

我想說的是，同枱食飯，很視乎個人的。

打個爛gag, 英國人又是否個個英文好呢？

畢業了！縱使沒有練就他好好的英語（這當然是我五年前的其中一項重點目標），但我認為得到的卻很多很多。
