關於Victoria second in 的理解

本來都不想多事出post,但希望以下資訊幫到大家：

我係維記用家，大女讀緊，細女今年考ＰＮ
綜合呢幾年見到有second in的個案，大約可歸類於下：
1.學校已經打算收，但要肯定家長不係怪獸父母，認同學校教學理念
2.小朋友係marginal case. 當年我大女因為係細Ｂ，面試表現出色但學校都有保留，所以再見一次
3.小朋友表現不好，但有哥哥姐姐讀緊，俾多次機會。

咁有second in係咪一定收？不係，見過有家姐讀緊，俾埋阿妹second in，最後都係不收。到Ｋ１先收返。
咁無second in係咪一定無機會？不係，見過不少例子直收，尤其係有哥哥姐姐讀緊果Ｄ，同上佢playgroup果Ｄ。

Very luckily the interviewing teacher was a very nice one and she talked with both my husband and myself.

But I don't think duration of interview means something.  I am still think my son's chance is 50-50.

wow, that's long! what time was your son's interview with SC? did both you and your husband need to answer Qs?

7 mins. You surely can get offer la. Mine didn't last more than a minute or 2

Finished St. Cath 2nd interview this morning.  Son was performing well, he  ...

got admited from VIC but still went for SC 2nd in....I guess the child performance doesnt count at all as the teacher didnt ask him any questions...
seems that the teacher/assistant are just keep the children busy....while the parents can answer the questions..
as soon as the parents finished answering.....
all can go immediately...
took around 7 min in discussion....3 questions......

Finished St. Cath 2nd interview this morning.  Son was performing well, he likes the teacher and the environment.  He is our only child .... no siblings studying there hope he will be admitted.

Good luck all we will know the result in mid-March!!!

Me Too!!!!

Son doesn't know Putonghua, but most of the time it was Putonghua teacher talking .... oh

He performed very well during English Story time and English Singing+Dancing time but ...... no 2nd interview, N 無, chance is slim ......
Sat will be St. Cath 2nd interview Day wish me and my son good luck la ....

Did the school actually mail out acceptance letter to your home last year? If yes, when did you receive it?

The password was sent out at the confirmation letter email after online application last year. Result was released on the exact date stated at the interview letter, which was few days earlier than the one at confirmation letter. Good luck
