CAIS Interview (今個星期!!)

My son will attend the interview this Sat, any mama can share the interview details ie what will be asked, format.....anything we need to pay attention to
Our school refused to provide 'reference form', does it significantly affect our application : (?
Know that there will be a 400K ICN, do we have to pay upon acceptance of offer?

贊成, 學校2017~18年將有大校舍, 我反而有點不捨得現在麗瑤這間溫馨簡樸的小校舍。

我反而覺得麗瑤校舍好好，好切合學校的校育方針。非常簡樸，非常樸素，非常低調，非常務實。小朋友不需華麗的校舍，只需有愛心有實力的校長同老師。

如果你真心喜歡呢間學校，你不難從學校網頁中知道新校舍一事，至於麗瑤校舍，我個人唔覺得太舊到無興趣比小孩返。學校有school visit, 何不一早睇下，唔洗浪費了你的報名費、時間、什至可能阻了真正想入讀的小朋友。要揀校舍靚的，CAIS 暫不是你杯茶。

因我見麗瑤個校舍真係太舊了，真係唔敢興趣比小朋友入讀，不過都係因為搬大校舍所以要收咁貴債券

之前學校有開家長工作坊講及新校舍興建進度. 預算2017年9月會在新校舍上學.

ILOVEBEAN: our school submitted the reference form but they wont give any comments, and all teachers r not allowed to fill out the form for any students ...they said it's policy
Not sure how it affects us ...

I spoke with Admission Officier & she  said the Reference Form is a must. She claimed it would be unfair to other applicants if we can't provide same but get admitted. I ask if I can submit after got the spot & she said the chance is slim.

Yes, Mr Best said on the interview day that it's around 60%+ and close to 70% for foreign passport holders now.

our chance is low too.  we speak cantonese at home.  our interview was on 9 Jan

yes, 400 applications for Prep this year, 84 seats, 70/30 ratio for foreign passtport holder. My son ran to me after the interview saying he had a great time, he likes CAIS, not sure how they did it in only ~45m interview ... Saw that many kids speak gd english, seems like our chance is slim

Yamin, when's yr interview, Jan 2 or 9? We were Jan 9 am. Heard that there will be another session on Jan 30.
