Late apply Year 1 of ESF

I have missed the deadline of applying Year 1 in EFS.

If I apply it now and the application falls into waiting list, is the chance of receiving interview low?

from what they told me, you will automatic become first proirty for year 2,
becuase im trying to apply year 2 next year

No, you don't need to apply for Year 2. Just stay on the same waitlist and your turn will come.

Hi , its better to apply year 1 waiting list, because year 1 waiting list has priority among year 2 waiting list.  ( it falls to the first priority for year 2 intake )
that's what the school told me .

But the waiting list numbers differ among each schools. It might be easier to wait for an esf school in HK island given you are luckily falling into that catchment. Correct me if I'm wrong

Yes really low chance to get an interview if you do not enjoy any priority
