因為學校學得慢所以出去學，比較過幾種phonics 之後覺得RWI有系統d同埋鐘意佢有埋寫作部分

其實真係好視乎你小朋友而家既情況，如果你覺得佢handle唔到，當然遲少少先學RWI會好一點。如果佢係handle得到，RWI係絕對可以輔助或even提升到佢既英文。

Hello the best thing I would do is to practice blending at home. There are set words in the foundation set book. Try and practice them 2-3 times a week and not drill the words or they'll remember them instead of blending them. Also I use non existing words to try and get them to blend. For example R A B. That way you can see if they are really blending.

Thanks.  I also asked her current teacher and she said they will probably knowing how to read very simple word like C-A-T 5 mths later.  Is there any way we can assist them at home to accelerate the phonics learning?

Hi! 我係系㓜稚園做老師，學校係用Jolly Phonics，但我本身都有敎開RWI。我認為Letterland同RWI同步學係會混淆，因為佢地既發音同次序都好唔同，所以小朋友會亂唔出奇。不過RWI確實係好有幫助，建議唔好放棄。

Hello I teach RWI. I notice that the children can start to blend words around 14th to 18th lesson.By the end of foundation they're more than capable to start reading red ditty books.

My girl just starts RWI Foundation 1.  How long does it take for her to be able to read book?  She learnt Jolly phonics before but seems not getting any progress.
