Is there any mum who have collected the BRP from post office in UK for the kid

Can any mum share their experience of collecting the BRP with their kid upon arrival to UK from post office ? is it a smooth & simple process there ?

You are required to collect the BRP before the deadline as stated in the letter. You don't have to go to the school, just go to the post office.

Thanks  I booked end of June to take the student visa for my son.

try to apply student visa as soon as you can , the BRP has to be collected within 1 month after entry into UK.

想請教樓主 你是否出發前一個月先可申请 student visa 因要到英國后取 b r  p或是到英國后一個月后到郵局取回 b r  p

School just took my son's passport but didn't need my authorization.

學校在我個仔入境後第26日才帶他去郵局取BRP，學校自己send email 去home office 指定老師做responsible adult，之後帶小朋友，passport同decision made 封信去郵局取

School just collected it on the 10th days from post office for my son. Nevertheless, I also heard that it's ok if the BRP is collected later than 10th day. I would still suggest you to check with school closely.

我女也是交了給學校代領BRP，但到今天為止還沒有消息，因為到9月10日已過期 ... 也正想問下原因

限期已經過咗成十幾日，學校仍然未從郵局領回BRP,請問有無人仲未拎到？！

If the school distributes BRP to their students, then I guess OK.
But if the school bring their students to collect the BRP from Post office, then this is what I'm worrying about.

學校都知新措施有些指示不清楚，故校方已親到郵局了解，職員話十天後或者遲幾日取都冇問題。

Hi Mi328,

2號到左UK，約好監護人去搞，點知咁。 即日網上申請，昨日收到email通知，話9/10會再正式出email給你，而個BRP就9/11先會ready。
