The school mentioned there will be two stops at Kowloon side for the school bus. Information will be sent out later!

Pushar, sept baby can be big or small baby in ISF.

The admission for a school year is sept 12 to dec 13 , for example.

Dear all, since this is a new school, any thoughts on the teacher-ratio, teaching method and teachers' background and quality? I haven't attended any Information Session.

Also, when you said small b/big b - what is the calendar year for the Pre-School? For ISF main school, it seems September babies are the "big" bs!

Re school bus route in Kowloon, I also called the school and emailed them but no reply.

Btw - I have not applied yet but wanted to get more info before applying as I live quite far away.

The preschool will only start in August but they have a very detailed syllabus posted on their website. I would expect the format will be similar to that in the Academy.  The purpose of the set up of the preschool is to prepare the students for the Academy.

Anyone know if there is school bus from Kowloon? Called the school but no one pickup the phone.

Riesling, HKIS, GSIS have Chinese in different level for kids. So if ur kid is strong in Chinese, they will put u to another class. And the kids in strong Chinese class is actually pretty good in their Chinese.

Yes, she was born in September. She did super well in interview. Much much better than my elder kid. But my elder kid get in and she can't. The first thing the principal said to us during parent meeting was "she is a small b" so we know the school doesn't like to intake small kid. Anyway we will try again next year as now we have sibling priority.

Sigh......will still try isf academy, SIS py2, and need to shortlist few more options which Chinese is better not far from standard .....but not finalized yet as need sometimes to research...., any good suggestions? 😧

My elder daughter use mandarin and she got in. Younger daughter use English and failed. But my rejection letter was saying "As children
develop at different paces, your child may be more suitable in joining The ISF
learning community at a later stage and we welcome your future application."
I guess my younger daughter may have chance if we reapply year one again next year as she is small b this year. Next year will be big b

Drlyuen, it's v generic, only said regret and unable to offer a place.....wonder if there are wait list letters?? Anyone knows?

Riesling, can you share what they said in the rejection email?
I also got rejection for my younger kid. And they said she is small and ask me to reapply next year.
