I just moved in to Southern District and quite unsure what good choices of PN or kindergartners here.
I would really want my girl to study at Victoria at Southern Horizon as it seems to me Vic can fit in both international stream as well as local schools (I have not yet decided which stream we would go for).
I have just placed my girl to join the Woodland Harbourside Playgroup and I also like the style of teaching, any mama know if Woodland kindergarten graduates can still adapt to local traditional schools?
I'm humbly looking for some great advice from other mama here for recommendations on other bilingual / trilingual international kindergartens in Southern. Thanks!
if compare with RM & Victoria, i think the most advantage is Victoria has higher chance to promote to its own Primary School.....for other aspects i m not dare to comment since i didn't choose Victoria for my daughter~~
Thanks for your reply again!
I believe Rightmind has sound reputation in providing strong language environment for kids, think its an advantage if I'm looking for some private primary schools as these schools normally require interviews in English.
The downside of course is the relatively high school fee. May I know how much for PN in the coming academic year?
Can u also advise if competition is keen for getting into Rightmind?
My daughter will go Rightmind Kindergarten for Pre-nursery in coming Sep....
it's teaching lang is both Eng & PTH, most of their graduate can either go IS or LS with very strong speaking Eng & PTH.
Thanks for your reply!
So which kindergartens will u go for after Woodland?
Your concern in learning Chinese is also one of my concerns too, unless I wanna put her to international school. But no doubt that Woodland's environment, teaching style and student mix are some of its attractions.
My daughter also currently studying in woodland harbourside playgroup, agreed with you that the teaching style is reli good as compare with Tutor Time.
But we will not continue the playgroup after the summer, ie won't promote to stepping stone course, to me it is hard to adapt to LS as not many chinese element (only 15mins PTH session) included....so we give up....
