SC and KV is definitely adventagous in applying private P1.
FYI, PC has very very few cases of transferring to other P1 in this few years, may be due to keen competition in P1

For HKPS I have no idea.

同意, 但PC VS MS, 我選MS, PC 偏向傳統 AND 幼稚園課程偏淺.. 好多MS 幼的家長分享課程活動很多，而我朋友曾在民小教, 對民小學生讚不絕口，但如果想100%直上小學, 咁就另計

There are still many ways to show your kid's ability, like cambridge YLE starter/mover/flyer, public putonghua exam, graded piano exam, etc.

If you want YW or other famos P1 (rather than PC), I advise you think it seriousely, since PC K doesn't provide you a formal academic report like subject marks or ranking. So it is quite embarrass when you cannot provide a formal report in applying other P1.

Agree. So it boils down to PC vs KV, if you are convinced that KV will give your son better training for the p1 fight.

The struggle for me was KM vs PC, and I chose PC, very much because my kid was a girl and she has a sibling to follow.

I would choose PC over MS.
Despite one of your target is YW, at least you don't have to worry P1 interviews， just to focus on your desired schools later.

And. I thought the topic of this thread was MS vs PC, but not SC/KV vs PC.
If it's between MS vs PC, I would vote for PC given the first hand experience I had and the comments from my sister.

But if it's between SC/KV and PC, I would have given a deeper thought on which primary I would actually be "satisfied".

Like it or not, one always needs to take risk to achieve "higher". But for my case, I'm perfectly happy with the "less ideal" but risk-free outcome. And in fact I don't think PC is less ideal to us.

One important consideration is that I don't want to put stress on both my kid and myself in the fight for P1, if it can be avoided.
