中韓SAT考生涉作弊 成績押後公佈

■SAT爆出大規模舞弊，涉及中國和南韓考生。

作為美國許多大學招生的重要參考依據的SAT測驗，鬧出歷來最嚴重的作弊指控，涉及中國和南韓兩國考生，是首次有超過一個國家同時受到「可信的」作弊指控。由於要複審成績，因此中國和南韓兩地考生的成績要押後公佈。

涉嫌有人作弊的SAT測驗，是10月11日舉行的一次。中、韓考生日前接到電郵通知，他們的成績可能要押後長達四星期、即11月下旬才公佈。未知多少考生受影響。應美國大學理事會委託辦SAT的美國考試服務中心（ETS）發言人指，這次指控涉及的是「在中國境外（非香港）應試的中國考生」，以及在南韓應試的考生。

旨在維護測驗公平公正的美國FairTest機構，在10月8日接到匿名線報指試題外洩，報料者並出示了一份2013年12月美國本土的SAT試題。海外SAT「幾乎總是」循環再用美國本土SAT舊試題。

I think it is hard to say whether it is indeed 個別事件. When there was one being caught, there were probably a lot more that were not caught. And people that cheat, never tell other people they cheat anyway. Cheating in SAT was already there in my time as a student. And most that cheated were HK students.
I did not mention that case to compare. It does not matter whether there are more cheating in China and Korea than in Hong Kong. I merely want to pointe out that cheating is here as well. Not something that happens in "other places". Cheating is contagious. When there are people that cheat, and they get away with it, there will be more and more people that believe they need to cheat.

A student from an international school in Hong Kong cheated at SAT last year (last academic year) and the guy that wrote the exam for him got caught.  That student was "stupid" and chose to take the test at a small centre. He might have been successfully got away with it if he has chose a larger centre. So the problem might be huge too with Hong Kong students.

SAT 考到識飛，過往10年30+%讀唔掂lvy League，你話點解，成日話holistic approach 收生, sorry, 我唔buy.

在香港每次遲45-60分鐘開考，就是太多國內考生，單單查考試證就死，SAT到公時今日才開刀，是否太遲了？
