It seems you are not sure what do you want?  Do you want your loved one study in messy and unreliable local school system just to learn discipline and moral for 3 years?  Nobody can tell you what you want.

hi, my daughter finished Primary 6 in local school and then transfer to CDNIS.  She skipped grade 7 and joined thr grade 8 class as she is 'big' girl.  Still need any info?

Aren't you making conflicting statements?  Or are you saying HK education is a mess except P1 to P3 when you intend to send your child to local school?

Or are you saying for good moral and discipline education, you are willing to put your child in a messy education system?

my friend got into CDNIS AT Y3 from another IS. It didnt take her long to queue up(few months). She probably did well at the entrance tests though cos her classmates didnt get in according to her mom.

btw, cdnis is not a cheap school and raises tuition fee every year. most kids at the school are quite well off or from upper middle class so its something to consider other than english accent.

Since my son is at international school and my daughter will have priority.  I am tempted to let her try local schools first.  but of cos it depends on her temperament.

所有出名的國際學校都難入，正如香港名校一樣，如中途入就要有人走先有機會，再加上小朋友英文一定要好！多數家長係會由小就入㓜稚園開始讀上去，所以不是很多人有你所問的經歷。
