RC or CAIS

my son and daughter are luckily accepted by CAIS and will join the school this Aug. However, I've just received RC's call and my son is offered a G1 seat, while my elder is still waiting for an interview.
I like CAIS for its smaller class size and Christainity, but like RC for IB (seems more well-known over Alberta in HK), and lower tuition fee. Another concern is my daughter is not offered a seat yet , not even an interview, and i do prefer them going to the same school. Should i take RC offer for my boy? any opinion? thanks!

You are right, IB is definitely more recognized - depends where you want your children to go to university I guess. But CAIS values are good - also note, that the two schools are in different areas of HK so you will really need to manage both children at different schools if you take up the RC offer.

Thanks oooray for your opinion. IB is not a must for me, only that i'm more familiar with it than Alberta and seems IB is more well recognised in hk.

It is quite embarrassing to tell CAIS that you are going to quit one of your children from CAIS and switch to RC, and leave the elder one in CAIS.
Have 2 different time tables for 2 children is really exhausting, unless you have enough backup to look after 2 children in different schools (My children were in different school for 2 years. Life was so busy but still under control).

Even if you let your son to study in RC and your elder has the sibling priority in RC, you may still need to wait for some time before a place is offered.

Last but not least, if you really think IB education is better for your children in the coming , the above factors are no longer important.
