連補習社都用佢,

仲要推介翻版賣給家長。

記起我小朋友以前都是成套從大陸買回來的, 現在她們的英文真的很好, 小學時已能看厚厚的英文無圖小說。

I haven't seen anyone mention the Wolf Hill series of books, also written & illustrated by Roderick Hunt & Alex Brychta
They are suitable for those kids who's finished the ORT series and are very good as well.

我英文仲差, 都唔知佢名字正確 IPA 係點, 講唔到到俾你聽.
俾個 link 你, 一開如就講佢個名, Alex 都會上鏡. 成段對話口音係一流的.
原來佢畫左 Floppy 3 千次以上, 書本有成 500本.

ORT 真係唔錯, 插圖絕對係超正.
個仔無本書會知作者, 更加唔會知插圖係邊個.
但係就講得出 Roderick Hunt 同 Alex Brychta . <--- 唔好意思 , Brychta 唔可以用 phonics 拼到出黎. 企圖用 phonics 拼必錯.
以前係書局買過套裝d, 好似二舊水有6本. 買齊11個stage應該100本樓下, 咪幾千, 駛唔駛老番呀 ??
呢系書係有有聲的, 似係 RP, 絕對唔係美音.
Stage 5有本 It's not fair. 講 King Arthur. 睇過呢本, 大個小小同佢睇 Merlin (BBC劇) 又再同佢提番本書.

ORT 係超班讀物。插圖full of details , 內容更超正，好合適又唔太露骨咁講國民教育，教英國核心價值。不過未必每個家長及吳克儉，梁特首buy .有一本講述kipper 去 Picnic, 見到架皇家空軍直升機，之後出發救人，唔洗用口話空軍係文明之師。一個故事講政府要開發郊區剷走樹林，kipper 一家聯同村民去咨詢大會反對，佢地想與大自然為鄰，唔要起高樓，之後上街去市政府抗議遊行，做長毛，最後成功爭取！故事內有個小朋友係坐輪椅，强項係係樹立搵動物！另一故事講kipper Grand mum 家旁要起公路，全部人唔開心，以後無得fly kite , 最後係果道揾到絕種蘭花，要保育，所以要停工，全部人開心返哂！
ORT claim 有八成英國學校選用！
香港要發展，起路起樓填海，海豚小左唔係問題，唔好阻人發逹，中港大融合。
現開始明白林鄭，梁特首點解要送仔女去英倫讀書
