SWCK有OFFER的入來傾吓?

大家好, 我已收到SWCK 8月的入學OFFER, 亦打算讀, 我諗大家可以响呢度傾吓計。

We were in a similar situation last year.
We speak English at home so my son's Cantonese level was very low.  He went to a local school for PN this year and he was crying everyday when he was at the door of the school for 3 months.  He can't express himself in school and he doesn't enjoy it at all.  He speaks a lot at home but he doesn't speak a word (not even in English) in school.

We will transfer him to an international school for K1 in the upcoming school year.  He does pick up Cantonese slowly in school and starts to speak and enjoy a little bit more.  But he still doesn't speak much in school and we do feel language barrier is a problem in school.

Just sharing my two cents and hope it helps.

我最近有個煩惱，有間LS收左我小朋友，而家考慮中，其實我有d担心我女入swck初頭會唔適應，因為我地主要同佢講廣東話，雖然而家返緊英普班，我驚佢初初返學唔適應，唔敢表達自己意思，怕佢會唔開心。有冇過來人可分享？
我d朋友多數話唔担心，因小朋友適應力強，係未呢？

hi there!  got an offer in December 2013.  Already paid the deposit.

It's now $5000 this year, compare to other IS, SWCK is reasonable

Cuz I live in HK side and I personally prefers ICA than the new YMCA primary school.

For me, I submitted the application when my daughter was two (May, 2013) and invited for interview last November.

I submitted the form in end of 2013 and was called for interview in January.
