2. 收生優先次序報讀英基屬下學校的學童將被納入輪候名單中。學童將會以以下優先次序獲安排面試／評估：

1. 英基企業提名權持有人
2.英基全職教職員的子女（包括英基學校協會及英基教育服務有限公司）
3. 有兄弟姊妹現正就讀英基中、小學或賽馬會善樂學校的學童
4. 英基個人提名權持有人
5. 曾就讀英基三年或以上的舊生的子女，或曾居留海外現再度回港的英基舊生
6. 其他需要以英語教學的教育的學童附註：以下安排僅適用於2013年9月及2014年9月提交的第1班

中央入學申請：報讀英基國際幼稚園的學童如在適用的1月份第1班面試期前已於幼稚園就讀至少兩個學期，將會獲得優先面試機會。

The securing of a place after an offer has been made requires
(1) the purchase (at a cost of HK$7,000) of a refundable debenture and
(2) payment in advance of the first month's school fees.If a child is withdrawn from the kindergarten prior to the commencement of the academic year, the first month's school fees will not be refunded and the debenture will not be redeemed unless two months' advance written notice is provided to the kindergarten.

Refundable Debenture
One refundable debenture must be acquired for each child attending the kindergarten before entry of such child into the kindergarten.The refundable debenture will be redeemed on the earlier of:
(a) the date the child (for whom this debenture was acquired) graduates from the kindergarten, which is normally at the end of K2, or
(b) the expiry of 2 months' notice in writing to the kindergarten of the child's withdrawal from kindergarten provided that all fees due to ESL have been fully paid at that date. If neither of the above is satisfied then this debenture will not be redeemed.If a child is withdrawn from the kindergarten prior to the commencement of the academic year, ESL will not redeem the debenture unless two months' advance written notice is provided to the kindergarten.

到底妳是否有小孩今明兩年開始入學的？不管是early learning or PYP，知否好多IS的new policy just release in these few months? are you really updated for ALL IS policy? I'm not that's why I'm asking here SINCERELY.

What about their $3 million "Gold" Debenture, non-refundable and non-transferable. Debt just means debt, doesn't say how or if it is repaid. Anyway, not important {:1_1:}

都係，應該是計劃擴充校舍之類，不過幸好只是數萬元，也不算太多。

早幾年會比較多IS有 refundable debenture, 有d仲係連capital levy都唔收，但e+已買少見少了，我幫女兒揾學校時做的research, 見有好幾間都是近幾年開始收debenture或capital levy, 幸好我女兒去年入學，只收$30K refundable debenture, 只要有一個學期notice就可攞返，但早排收到信話下學年入學的學生將要收取$50k debenture, 而且是non-refundable。另外學校亦一向有$12k annuel capital levy。

其實我諗係因為近年IS需求量大，很多IS都想擴張，所以要多d資金。

Many IS have refundable debenture and many of them refund the full amount without interest. You lose a few years of interest, does it make such a big difference in choosing a school?

You intend to spend substantial money anyway when you decided to put your child in a IS. Should you focus on getting in and the kind of education the school offers?

Ok, but refunding part of the money is still a refund. Debenture that is strictly non refundable is uncommon. Why would somebody call it a debt when you do not intent to repay it.

Yes there is, Australian International School, clearly stated as debenture and non-refundable.

In fact they have 2 types:-

(1) A $100,000 Depreciating Debenture which is refundable but its value depreciates by 12.5% per year (so after 8 years it will have zero value).

(2) A $3,000,000 Gold Debenture which is non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you buy the "Gold" Debenture, your name will appear on a "professionally designed, permanent and fixed display in the lobby of the school and in the Foundations’ publications." {:1_1:}

yes, 我女果間，我女入學時debenture是可refund, 但早排收到通知debenture轉了不可refund （舊生仍可refund, 只影響新生），另外亦要比annuel capital levy的，是兩樣唔同的，兩樣都要給，兩樣都沒有refund。
