一竹篙不能打一船人, 囝囝和很多華小的同學都相處融洽. 其實每一間學校都有不同的學生,各自修為而已.

可否改面試時間是學校自行決定的, 能否予學生方便亦是校方決定. 容許改時間是學校人性化的一面, 能體諒學生的處境. 其實如非必要, 誰想改時間, 難道不怕影響印象?影響面試成績?

態度招積我想是家教的問題大於學校，我仔今年是華小P6，大部份同學我都認識，可能男校生比較百厭，但個個都好有禮貌喎

So, the one you complain should be EB, not the school. When each school is allowed to set its own timetable for the interviews, it is not rational to blame the school. Perhaps you can imagine how difficult it is if every student wants to swap time or so.

Yes, it's good to you that the school (your so-called "one of the top ten schools in HK") changed the time for you. However, many top schools wouldn't change time. St Joseph is one of them.

我覺得你濫用了怪獸家長在這件事程上, 兩間學校面試時間相撞並非我們的過錯(因為港華是一直沒有公佈面試日期), 我們完全是處於被動! 我完全不知在這件事上與過份照顧有關! 相反, 我認為囝囝在這次面試事件上的積極的表現令我非常欣賞, 一個小六的學生, 在中英音樂兩小時的面試中為自己爭取到一個學位, 還能說我們是monster parents & over-caring my child!

教統局既然容許每個學生有機會去2間學校面試, 就應該讓學生在合理的情況下改動面試時間, 要知道兩個機會是同樣重要的. 學校有學校的難處但相比學生都要同樣付出很多的努力才爭取到面試機會(為了呈分試相信大家都感受良多), 爭取到面試機會但最後就因為撞時間而要放棄最後的一步, 是何等的無奈!

在未知能否調時間前我們已決定改不到就放棄港華(因為入的機會細), 幸運地另一間同樣是BAND 1A(全港排名頭10名)的中學讓我們與同學調時間而令我們得到港華面試機會, 而囝囝亦以第一志願成功入了港華, 回想學位就因為撞期而差點兒就在手中溜走是多麼的不值!!

我始終覺得學校是講理由的地方, 以學生的利益為依歸, 調動時間並無不當亦非不可行.

Sorry to say that although the time might be a bit tight, but I think the schools needed to make the things go smooth. Regarding the clash of time between two schools, I think it's not the schools that need to take care of this as they cannot satisfy all parents' needs. Why are parents called "monster parents" nowadays? In addition to over-caring their children, they are always concerned too much about their needs and ask for more (or even too much) from other parties.

Frankly, my son also faced this some years ago. We just tried to adapt to the situations. We knew that this was our problem and we needed to solve it on our own. Finally, my son gave up another interview. On the same day when my son took the interview, I remember another parent faced the same situation and blamed (shouted to) the school's teachers that they weren't helpful......

仲有一點要提大家, 就係去年港華的面試通知方法就麻麻地, 我是面試前一星期才收到電話通知, 面試前四天才收到信才知要考樂器. 當時面試時間還與另一間學校面試時間相撞, 但港華表明不可改時間, 我千辛萬苦才改到另一間時間, 真的嚇親死! 今年轉了校長, 希望有所改善啦!

招手位是指對一D有潛質的小學生提供offer, 叫他們報名入讀中一, 一定收. 這情形在各大名校十分普遍.

囝囝好投入, 現在忙於預備校際比賽一星期要練三天, 下星期仲要入營四天加練, 如果你兒子都是投入的都應該好享受. 樂團每部都有師兄照顧, 有時都是由師兄負責加練的, 我沒有聽囝囝投訴樂團的事. 而且上到男校中學, 學生和家長都要學懂不拘小節, 不再如小學般那麼麻煩和多是非. 囝囝話同學小息和午飯都是忙於打波, 跟本都沒時間去攪是攪非, 所以他非常享受中學生活, 整個人都更開朗更積極.

請問你仔有join school orchestra嗎? 樂團水平如何?  令郎投入嗎?  團員相處如何? 可否分享多些?  因小兒熱愛小提琴，故除學業成績外，也希望有一個「OK齊腳」的樂團讓他投入。見學校每年雖有music scholarship 比6-8音樂人，但樂團人數好像𣎴太多?  故有些疑惑

其實每年144中一位, 華小佔了9X個, 剩下不夠50個位, 還有港華會還有招手位, 所以在首輪入到的真的很少!

囝囝讀得很高興, 程度亦接近, 這真的是一間很好的學校, 既自由亦嚴謹, 師兄對師弟有著使命感的照顧和關懷令我非常欣賞, 成績不單著重考試, 平時分亦佔相當比例, 令孩子明白在任何時候都應做好. 又著重獎勵和服務, 我們一家都為囝囝選對學校而感恩!
