Hello! 我本身係csfc既舊生，校方見香港坊間對我校既印象好似淨係一間死讀書既學校，所以就搵左一班舊生向家長同學生分享下個人心得，而另外一間係我本身有朋友係果到讀，所以都可以解答相關既問題。因為我地係無收校方任何利益，所以所有意見全部係個人既所見所思。

昨天去了教育展， 確應了得不到3A 是有機會轉校或留班，由於收生要求高，未有香港人出現這情況。

我仔個足球師兄剛從Cardiff 考咗入UCL 讀Econ. 佢之前響香港憑足球talent 入咗香港的top boy school, 成績應該不是名列前茅，跟住考入Cardiff sixth form. 但佢好似吾recommend，因為真係好學店，只追成績。聽講成績不達標的佢地會用另一個學校名幫你報GCE.
個人吾認同咁急功近利嘅教育機構。

Hi 海歸仔仔 ,
Would like to get your comment on Bosworth independent School?  I cannot find this school in the "Independent schools results table", is this school in a top ranking in UK A-Level School, compare with Cardiff Sixth Form College, which one will be better in the following aspects:-
1. study environment
2. supporting in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Phy, which school will be better?
3. living environment
4. Students / teachers / school relationships.

Cardiff will open a new campus in Oxford in coming Sept but partner with Oxford Int'l College.  I visit the website of Oxford Int'l College but the A-Level result is not as good as Cardiff.  I just got a conditional offer to Oxford campus but worry if the academic would be same as Cardiff Sixth Form.  I have another offer from Warwick School.  Any advise to me?

My son just accepted by CSFC Oxford campus. Are there any different between Cardiff and Oxford campus? Do they also offer Medical Programme and internship? Thanks!

Annie,
最慘佢地未必係無信心, 而係無嘗試, 唔 bother.  為咗保住自己學校嘅成績而去犧牲學生嘅利益, 這種功利主義絕不能認同或鼓勵.  唔知學生入學時, 學校有無同D學生講清楚考唔到 3B 就要中途 bye bye?

死讀書嘅學校係唔係有問題就見仁見智, 不過因為學生攞唔到3B以上而需要中途離校, 這做法就肯定唔啱.  好似學校派D學生去參加馬拉松比賽, 走咗一半路程, 學校叫嗰D不在領先位置嘅同學中途退出, 這是甚麼道理?  最慘係這些同學到時會吊吊fling, 唔知點算好.

There is no misunderstanding.  Our comment is based on your claims.

You also mentioned "if you cannot achieve 3b in AS year you are not allowed to proceed. Such requirement may increase to 3A in near future"

Even if there is only one person failing to get 3B or above, why would the school want to expel him?  The school chose to accept him a year ago, presumably the school was happy with him at the time.  If he fails to attain the top grades in AS Level (which doesn't necessarily mean that he won't improve and excel in A level), shouldn't the school assist him rather than expel him.  If the school expels a student based on the grades he gets in AS Level alone, the most likely reason is that the school doesn't want to take a risk and they want to keep the percentage of their grade A* or A students as high as possible.  They want to remain #1 in the League Table and they do so at the expense of the students. Is this a correct and responsible conduct of a school?
