有冇人同我一樣煩緊?
呀仔讀緊local happy school, 屋企講英文同Malaysian style華語, 本來想俾佢讀Dss or local, 因為international 真係太貴la.  但想試試運氣on ESF, 本來11月收到信話冇interview俾我, 咪諗住放棄. 點知突然又收到信去screening!

想去international因為仲有個妹, 去ESF唔駛煩. 但ESF貴喎, 如果去ESF, 我就要去返工然後成份人工交哂學費. 去DSS平D, 但唔一定考到, 加上我唔想谷我小朋友, 同埋呀妹到時又要黎過. 真煩!!!!!

HK's public education is not that bad. It isn't worth to make such sacrifice. Stay with your kids, take care of them and teach them is more important. My local DSS and public schools are very good.

今年RC 有800人申請佢地會interview 600人爭百幾個位

我諗樓主是全職媽媽，所以掙扎在讀國際學校就要出來工作，與物質生活冇咩關係。我都係建議面見咗先再作決定，自己也可親身接觸下學校。

I had little hope my son will be offered an interview when I applied and I only applied for RC.  He is at the lowest priority, ie no siblings, not attending ESF kindy, but somehow we are lucky enough to be offered an interview.  It's true decision time will come if my son is offered a place.  All I can do now is wait and see!

既然教育唔係第一位，覺得自己要放棄某些物質生活，又唔捨得的話，就無謂勉強。入讀國際學校，除學費外，還有很多其他雜費。

咁呢D個人價值觀問題;街外人幫你唔到。我係過來人so far自我感覺得多於失但人人對物質生活要求唔同;建議你先同另一半傾掂先決定點行，條路要行十幾年，如果同路人想法跟你南轅北徹的話我保證你會好痛苦。

Renaissance's fees are clearly listed in their website and known to you when you applied to them, seems a little strange (and late) to be troubled by the costs now when they invite you to interview. Anyway, no harm attending the interview, and you'll know the result by early February, and if they accept your child then it will be the real decision time.

That, I don't know.  I was told initially the invitations to interview will be sent out at end of Nov, and interviews will be held in Jan.  I received a letter at the end of Nov telling me unfortunately they're unable to offer my son an interview and asked me whether I wanted to keep my son's application active.  
I assumed more invitations will be sent out after the first round of interviews in Jan.  But somehow I have received a letter from RC inviting my son to attend an 'Admission Screening'.  I'm assuming it's an interview???

如果你唔係大把$；又唔想物質生活衣食住行全降一級；咁就唔洗煩啦。
留番d$住好d；食靚d；旅行去遠d。都係唔錯。

Actually u r more lucky than others as u have a chance to interview.  If I were u, I would attend interview.  U can check it out if yr kid likes the school or not.  

Btw,  what is the meaning of "screening"?  How come u didn't receive at beginning n received interview letter finally?

小學定幼稚園？不過情形都係一樣，唔好咁老定，siblings 唔係收硬，只係有優先去 interview。

They still have a little sister to follow and hopefully get in before paying the full fees.
