如果自行有25分入st Mary's , k1 揀York 定SN 定MS好？

Does st Mary has knock door? I thought for those schools who join the govt lottery does not have any more. It is good that they reserve some discretion.

Yes correct, but if I cannot get in by 25 marks, I won't give up another opportunity to get in to St Mary. The lottery is the biggest chance to get in.

To be honest, if really unlucky that can't get in with 25 points, than at least I still have MS primary as my back up, right ?

Thx for the sincere advise,  but among the offers I got, York seems to be the most competitive one already .....

If I were you, I will choose the most competitive kindergarten for my girl, is it York (sorry I am not quite familiar with Kowloon kindergartens)? I won't choose MS because it does not allow lucky draw. If you were so unlucky that you cannot get in by 25 marks, you can still go lucky draw (given that you live in the same district). St Mary also allow knock door. If your girl cannot secure a seat under lucky draw, and you still keep your girl competitive, you can let her knock door at the final stage.

So to conclude, move to the same district with St Mary, let your girl study in a competitive but allow you to go lucky draw school.

I wish I could have st cat offer, happy and gd eng school, but only waiting lei....

I only have York, MS, St Nic, and 九龍靈糧堂, all AM class, after got MS offer, I didn't go the rest of the interviews la, so if just want to be happy and build up good eng foundations, seems York is the best choice. But, MS is also a very good kg which is very comprehensive, Net teacher as class teacher as well, York's Net teachers will not stay with the class all the time, they will shift to other local class to teach eng, and many of them are Indians or ABC...

So.... Headache.....

If she can get in with 25 points, that's the first round , she is not required to enter the lucky draw in the second round. Don't mix them up.

So you should choose a school like SC, happy and good english

So happen, we also has 25 score for st Mary's.
I choose to keep my girl competitive. Not to mention it could be more competitive later, you n I studied there before n we know how tough n demanding the school is. Setting the foundation for the child is important.

St Mary's係中文小學，而家時勢學好英文好容易，但想小朋友學好及對中文keep住有興趣相對英文更難，無論決定讀邊間KG，先要打好個底
