ESF Abacus interview

Hi,  my son got the interview invitation.  Can anyone share how the group  interview be?  What will the kid do?  Will it be just like how the local kinders assess the kids?  Besides,  what is the chance on getting the offer if he is being short listed for interview?  Many thx.

Thx. In parent mtg, I remember the principal said that they will not ask any question to kids during interview, as they won't expect 2 yrs old kids will talk to strangers. But in the interview morning, there were 3 teachers asking questions to my girl and she didn't answer them at all (but follow their instructions). Is that mean her chance is pretty low? And why the principal gave wrong information?

I received an invitation for interview too. I hope my boy can get an offer as well.

Just asked the admission office.

They sent out the first batch of invitations already.  They have a 'random number' attached to each application.  If the number is big, it means it is on the waiting list (i.e. only will be invited if someone declines to join the school after the interview).

I don't have letter.  How about u?  My fd rec'd email as well. It seems that different campuses have diff practices.   From other discussion,  TY ESF sent letter rather than by mail.

Parent meeting is 1/14 6:00pm. It is for better understanding on their educational philosophy n curriculum n the purpose of play visit.  Saved in this, I don't think it is a patent interview

O really? But the email mentioned it's parent meeting, which means group briefing instead of individual seesion? Mine is on Jan 14, how about yours?
