I am trying to collect all the data I can access from SPC’s school reports. As per my records, there were only couple years the academic performance declining due to the change of DSS (SPC became a DSS school in 2002). Here is my finding......

You may find the number of Jupas Offers dropped a lot on year 2009 (they were the last batch from government allocation before changing to DSS).
When everybody is talking about the banding of different secondary schools, they all refer to khmama's 18區中學banding排名 (http://www.edu-kingdom.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=2230797&extra=page%3D1).Since the list was analyzed based on the records collected on 2009, you can see how unlucky SPC was......
So here is my finding on the recent few years.....
On 2009, the university admission rate was 38%
On 2010, the university admission rate was 47%
On 2011, the university admission rate was 51%
On 2012, only 85 students enrolled in F.7 for this cohort, DSE: LOCAL DEGREES: 43.0% TOP 3 Us: 23.1%
On 2013, 71 Jupas Offers (57.72%), 86% having 33222, 22% achieving 25 grade points or above in the best 5 subjects. The highest grade point for the best seven subjects was 44 points.
The reason why I showed all these is everyone has different measure on ranking. I believe only the data can justify while there are different arguments on SPC’s banding. So these were what I found from the school reports, school website and the parents (special thanks to khmama, hogwarts and all those existing SPC parents).
To answer your question, SPC was band 1C according to khmama. In considering the improvement of academic performance in these few years, I would rank SPC is band 1B (保守地). Besides,all the sources or rumor you may say, the students in SPC or SPCPS are getting much improved years by years. So, I am waiting to hear more and more good news from SPC.
